The European Physical Society will organise the 3rd European Topical Meeting on Nanophotonics and Metamaterials (NANOMETA 2011) which will be held in Seefeld ski resort, Tirol, Austria during 3-6 January, 2011. This will be the third conference in the NANOMETA series following a meeting in January 2009 attended by many leading authorities in the field.
NANOMETA 2011 aims to bring together the international Nanophotonics and Metamaterials research communities and will be devoted to papers reporting new and challenging results and ideas in these burgeoning fields. The technical programme will include invited and selected contributed papers in the areas of
• Photonic and microwave meta-materials
• Near-field optics
• Plasmonics and nano-photonics
• Optical super-resolution
• Transformation optics
• Nano-bio-photonics

The conference will be organised in two oral parallel sessions (Nanophotonics and Metamaterials) and will feature plenary, invited and contributed contirubions (oral and poster). The conference timetable will be organised in a way that permits mid-day brakes for recreational activities and informal contact between participants.
The Paper online submission will open on the 1st of August 2010. The submission deadline is expected to be 1 October 2010. More details will soon be available
